Kyle Headshot

I spent most of my life in a small suburb of Philadelphia as a fan of sports, food and adventure. I was always drawn to being creative, primarily drawing and illustrations. During my youth, I played almost every sport and fell in love with lacrosse. While I was lined up to go to and play collegiately, likely majoring in business, it was a visit to a local art school that gave me the realization that I could make a living doing what I love, design. I graduated as one of the top of my class in Graphic Design, and have loved the journey in this creative landscape ever since.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked in many areas of design. Ranging from print and web, graphic and package design, and of course, screen and app design, I have always enjoyed working on new mediums. I have found that working in one focus for too long gives me a bit of tunnel vision, and being able to try something new and get out of my comfort zone has made me a better designer and gives me a chance to have a different perspective.

In 2013, I decided to change things up and packed up my car and moved 2400 miles out of my comfort zone to the Bay Area. It was a tough decision, but one that has certainly been one of the best decisions of my life, not only for the locale, weather, or industry, but an opportunity to grow.

While I'm not designing screen flows and UI, I'm usually rooting on Philadelphia teams, doing CrossFit, going on adventures, sometimes being a background actor, or having an adventure with my wife and two fur-babies.

I'm almost always up for a coffee (or IPA), so let's connect!
